What do the ingredients in Advanced Joint Health do?

Glucosamine, Chondroitin, and MSM support the structure and function of healthy connective tissues and joints and
contain ingredients which are support the production of things like collagen, joint fluids, and cartilage which are not produced or repaired as readily as your dog ages. Green-lipped mussels are rich in omega-3 fatty acids which are beneficial for joints. Manganese is an essential mineral for the formation of
collagen and other elements that support healthy cartilage. And Vitamin C provides antioxidant, detoxification and supports healthy inflammatory
response.

How do I know if my dog may need a Joint Health supplement?

Signs that your furry friend may be feeling a bit of pain or stiffness in their joints include a decreased interest in activities like walks, playing, and interacting with you or other pets. They may hesitate or need extra encouragement before jumping on a couch
or chair, may slow down during walks or be less likely to walk as far, or have difficulty sitting or standing up.

How many Joint Health chews should I give my dog?

Our chews are formulated for weight-based dosing. For dogs under 15 lbs, give one chew daily. For 15-45 lbs, 2 chews. For
45-75 lbs 3 chews. And over 75lbs 4 chews. When giving more than one chew, divide the dose between AM and PM. (e.g. for a 30lb dog, provide one chew in
the morning and one in the evening.)

How long does the Joint Health product take to work?

Results may vary depending upon the animal and the severity of the condition. But regardless of factors, Joint Health supplements are not intended to work immediately. It may take several weeks for your pet to show signs of improvement.

What does a probiotic do for pets?

When should I give my dog a probiotic?

Probiotics are generally useful in aiding everyday digestion and so can be taken daily like a multi-vitamin. In addition, specific situations may warrant probiotic use as well including diet changes or food sensitivity, signs of stress, gas, indigestion, tummy noises,
loose stool or difficulty going, and even yeast infections in the ears and allergies which generally manifest as scratching and rashes.

What type of probiotic is best?

There are many types of probiotics that serve slightly different but ultimately very similar functions. However,
probiotics are generally most useful when still living. Saint Barkus uses bacillus coagulans which is one of the most robust probiotic strains available, is particularly well suited to chewable products, and is tested to ensure that
1 billion CFU of live and viable cultures are still present all the way through the expiration date.

How many probiotic chews should I give my pet?

Our chews are formulated for

may do so at once or space them out.
